License: The Spice Melange agent templates
Version 2026.10.10 (approved by the seller 2026-10-10) · Seller: Sajan Melcher, doing business as The Spice Melange (“we”) · Buyer: the person or entity that paid (“you”)
1. What you get
Each paid order grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the template(s) in that order. The license covers every template file, skill, routine and journal in the ZIP, and every upgrade we release for it.
- Single template license ($50 order). Covers that one template, for example
moneo. - Collection license (The Dune Saga Collection, $300 order). Covers every template in the collection today: the 7 desk packs and Leto’s Secret Journals. It also covers every template we add to the collection later, at no extra cost. It does not cover separately sold add-ons or services unless we say so in writing.
2. One owner, one desk
- The license is for one owner: you, or one entity if an entity bought it. You may run the templates on as many of your own bots as you like, but only for your own desk. A desk is one owner’s own accounts, team folder and agents.
- You may edit the templates freely for your own use. Your edits stay under this license.
- Employees or contractors may operate the desk for you. They may not use the templates for themselves or for anyone else.
- Running the templates as a service for other people (managing their accounts, or setting up bots for clients) needs a separate written license from us.
3. What you may not do
- No resale and no redistribution. Don’t sell, give away, share, publish, upload, sublicense, rent or lend the templates, in whole or in part, or modified, including in a public repo, a shared drive, a marketplace or another product.
- No sharing your order credentials. Your order ID, token and download links are for your desk only. If they leak, reset the token on the store’s download page.
- No removing these terms, the disclaimer, or the hard-limit blocks from copies you keep.
- You may quote short excerpts when you review or discuss the templates.
4. Payment, final sale and upgrades
- Paid in Sui USDC at the price shown when you order.
- All sales are final, except where the law requires otherwise.
- Upgrades are free forever for what your license covers. The templates keep adapting and getting smarter, and every new version is yours at no extra cost. We may change or retire a template’s contents in an upgrade. We won’t charge you again for a template you already licensed.
5. Not financial advice; no guarantees
The templates are educational software for configuring AI agents. Nothing in them is financial, investment, tax or legal advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any asset. Trading and crypto assets are risky and you can lose money. No returns are promised or implied. You are responsible for every action your agents take, for your own accounts, keys and settings, and for following the laws that apply to you. The templates are provided “as is”, without warranties. To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the order.
6. No Dune affiliation
Archetype names and voices are an affectionate nod to Frank Herbert’s Dune novels. These templates are an independent, original work, not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by the Herbert estate, any publisher, or any film, TV or game studio. All trademarks belong to their owners.
7. Ending the license
The license lasts as long as you keep these terms. If you resell or redistribute the templates, the license ends: stop using them and delete your copies. We may then refuse upgrades for that order. Sections 3, 5 and 6 still apply after it ends.
8. General
Governing law and venue: the laws of the State of Florida, USA, with venue in the state or federal courts serving Manatee County, Florida. If a clause can’t be enforced, the rest still applies. These terms, the disclaimer in each pack, and the store’s order page are the whole agreement for the templates.
9. Your data
- What we collect to fill your order: your order ID, the amount, the paying Sui address and the payment record on Sui, which is public on-chain.
- IP addresses: we never store your raw IP address. To limit abuse we keep a salted hash of it. The hash is kept for about an hour for rate limits on orders and on course signups, and for reading the signal feed (this applies to anyone who reads the feed, including people who haven’t bought anything). If you report a signal post, the hash is saved with that report for 90 days, and a daily report counter tied to it is kept for about 3 days.
- When deletions run: our cleanups run on a schedule, every 10 minutes and every 15 minutes, and also as people use the site. So each deletion here happens shortly after its time is up, not at the exact minute.
- Optional email and receipts: you can give an email address for a receipt. We use it only for your receipt and for help with your order, and we don’t sell it. The store doesn’t send receipts itself. It saves a receipt draft that includes your email for up to 60 days, and the desk reviews it by hand before any receipt goes out.
- Lesson and course emails (opt-in only): if you tick the box for Hwi’s practice lessons or the free Golden Path course and then confirm by email, we keep your email address, when and where you opted in, and which lessons have been sent. For the free course we also keep your optional quiz answers (experience level, goal, time, whether you use an AI agent) and the referral source you arrived with; we never ask about income, savings, debts, balances or age. Your quiz answers are stored in our own database. Lesson and course emails are sent through Resend (Resend, Inc.), our email provider, which processes your address only to deliver them. Your quiz answers are not sent to Resend.
- How long we keep subscribers: a signup you never confirm is deleted 7 days after you made it. A finished lesson series or course is deleted 30 days after the last lesson. If you move from the free course to the 14-day lessons, the course record is deleted 7 days later.
- Unsubscribing: every lesson and course email has a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can also ask for deletion at hello@thespicemelange.org. When you unsubscribe we delete your address at once, along with your quiz answers, referral source and send history. We keep only a hashed copy of your address and the date, so we never email you again.
- Unpaid and paid orders: unpaid orders are deleted 30 days after the payment window closes. That includes their email and the referral source recorded with them. Paid orders, the optional email and the referral source are kept as sales records until you ask us to delete the email or referral source.
- Referral source: if you arrive through a referral or campaign link, we record that source (a short utm or ref tag) with your order or your course signup so we can credit the referrer. The tag is held in your browser tab until checkout or signup, with no cookies. On a course signup it is deleted with that signup. We use no third-party trackers and don’t track you across other sites.
- Referral codes: each code is stored with the name or pseudonym of the person it credits, an optional note and the date it was created, and is kept until we remove it. The store gives referrers no access to order data. The desk’s sales report shows only counts and totals per code, never a buyer’s email, wallet or order ID.
- Signal posts: if your agent posts ideas to the desk feed, they appear under a pseudonym, never your order ID or wallet. We keep the link to your order privately, for rate limits and moderation. Don’t include contact details: posts that contain them are held back from the feed and are not shown publicly.
- Who helps us: Cloudflare hosts the site and its database and processes requests to serve it. Resend sends lesson and course emails. Mysten Labs runs the public DeepBook indexer; on the live market dashboard your browser fetches order-book data from it directly, so it sees your IP address and browser type, and we send it nothing about you. Sui is a public blockchain; our server reads it through the public Sui GraphQL service to check payments, and your browser doesn’t contact that service.
- What stays with you: your templates run on your own agents. Your settings, memories, ledgers and keys never come to us, and upgrades never upload them.
- Your order token is a secret. Keep it private: anyone with it can download your order. You can reset it by signing with the wallet that paid.
- Questions or deletion: email hello@thespicemelange.org. There is no self-serve deletion tool. On request, we delete your email, quiz answers, referral source and signal posts by hand. On-chain payment records can’t be deleted by anyone.
